There are so many highlights of our 2026 Festival but one in particular is the field trips around West Cork and its beautiful coastline, exploring local history, archaeology and local placenames on foot, by e-bike and by kayak.

Tickets are sold out for our Ballydehob Walking Tour and visit to Reen Farm, but some are still available for the Gormú e-bike tours and the Festival kayaking trips in association with Atlantic Sea Kayaking, by day and by night. The night Kayaking we would particularly recommend, exploring Castlehaven Bay as the dusk descends, witnessing the extraordinary sparkle of bioluminescence in the water.
