We welcomed the Tánaiste to the first evening of the Festival. Writer Glenn Patterson was our brilliant opening speaker, in conversation with Festival co-founder Simon Kingston about Glenn's recent book The Last Irish Question: Will Six into Twenty-Six Ever Go?
Glenn then joined a panel discussion with civil society and heritage leaders from both sides of the border, thinking about what we have learned from the Decade of Centenaries about our past and our future. Other panellists were (left to right in photo below) the chair Bob Collins, Danielle O'Donovan, Glenn, Victoria Kingston (Festival Co-Founder), Trevor Ringland and Bishop Paul Colton.
